MAD architects developed this scheme for a local developer / contractor on a small infill site between existing properties, off Dunston Road in Chesterfield.
After reviewing various options MAD were able to create a scheme containing 2 generous sized 3 bedroom bungalows, with double garages & off road parking.
The bungalows feature a simple modern design, finished with a combination of red brickwork, white render & grey windows. The properties also feature asymmetrical mono pitch roofs, which minimise the impact on the surrounding properties.
Internally the properties feature an open plan living / dining / kitchen area, with 2 sets of doors opening onto private rear gardens. Whilst designed as open plan spaces the design is flexible allowing various configurations of partitions should these ever be required.
