An exciting week see the timber frame delivered and erected. In around 10 days an empty slab is transformed into the skeleton of a house.
Update - Dobcroft Road, Sheffield - 11.03.21
Both blockwork & timber frame walls are now constructed forming the new spaces in the extension.
Planning Approval - Matlock Road, Chesterfield
MAD have just received planning approval for our proposed alterations to a house on Matlock Road, Chesterfield.
The scheme involves the replacement of several aging extensions, with a new cohesive extension forming a new large family area at ground floor and additonal bedroom on the first floor.
The property is also being reconfigured with a new entrance and staircase to provide a more natural flow around the property.
Work is due to start summer 2021.

Planning Approval - Green Farm, Holmesfield
MAD have just received planning approval for a new dwelling in Holmesfield.
The scheme involves the demolition of several dilapidated outbuildings and construction of a new ‘eco’ friendly family dwelling.
The site is within the Holmesfield conservation area with the existing buildings also providing roosting sites for bats. As a result of this a new bat roost will also be constructed to maintain the ecology of the site.
Work is due to start early 2021.

After some COVID related delays the project is now reaching the final stages. With the kitchen installated there are just a few finishing touchs required.
