MAD have just received planning approval for our proposed alterations to a house in South Wingfield, Alfreton.
The scheme involves the complete renovation of this stone built detached house, including a small glazed extension with a roof terrace over. Internally the layout has been reconfigured to maximise the potential of each of the rooms whilst minimising the circulation space, introduced by previous works.
The properties energy requirements have also been drastically reduced by new solar panel installations and an air source heat pump, linked to new thermally enhanced underfloor heating system.
Work is due to start in late summer 2019.
